Variety · 4 hours ago

The cast of 1993 baseball film “The Sandlot” has reunited for “Dugout Dads”, a nine-episode comedy series released on YouTube. The show follows an optimistic father who coaches his children’s Little League team, only to find the adults more difficult to manage than the players, and its creators hope the short-form release will lead to a full-length series.

Patrick Renna and Kyle Howard’s Hambino Media created the project, which stars several former “Sandlot” actors alongside Danielle Fishel and Michael Peña. NBA player Chris Paul and his brother CJ Paul have joined as executive producers through Oh Dip!!! Entertainment, aiming to help expand the series; all nine episodes are now available on YouTube.
