The Star of Guy Ritchie’s Best TV Series Is Bringing Her 2019 Creature Feature to Paramount+
Paramount+ has added the 2019 survival thriller Crawl to its streaming line-up from 1 August, timed to build anticipation for the second season of Netflix's The Gentlemen, which stars Crawl actress Kaya Scodelario. Guy Ritchie's Gentlemen TV series, adapted from his own 2019 film, became one of Netflix's biggest English-language hits with over 76 million views, prompting the renewal that returns on 3 September and sees Scodelario's Susie Glass and Theo James' Eddie Horniman expand their criminal operations into Italy against a local crime boss.
Crawl follows Scodelario's character riding out a Category 5 hurricane in Florida to rescue her missing father, co-starring Barry Pepper and directed by Alexandre Aja, with horror veteran Sam Raimi among its producers. Well-received by critics on release, the creature feature has become a recurring presence in streaming charts, making it a fitting companion piece for fans awaiting the Gentlemen sequel's Netflix debut next month.
