## Summary

Amazon is adapting *Savage Son*, the third book in Jack Carr’s *The Terminal List* series, with Chris Pratt returning as James Reece. The project extends the franchise, but Amazon has not said whether it will be a standalone season like *Dark Wolf* or the third season of the main series.

The story follows Reece as he recovers from brain surgery in Montana and is targeted by a traitorous CIA officer sheltering with the Russian mafia. With help from Katie Buranek and Raife Hastings, he recruits former commandos to confront the threat in Russia. The main series began in 2022; its second season premiered on 21 October, adapting Carr’s *True Believer*.
