First Lady Melania Trump made a prominent appearance at the 81st United Nations General Assembly in New York City on Tuesday, attending her husband's speech whilst wearing a tailored black suit. She subsequently hosted 57 spouses of world leaders at an event promoting her signature initiative, "Fostering the Future Together," which aims to empower children globally through education and technology.

The event, held at the St. Regis hotel, was attended by representatives from eleven countries including the United Kingdom, South Korea, Poland, Ukraine, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates. The Trump administration announced seven new technology partnerships for the initiative, involving Adobe, Amazon, Intel, Starlink, Google and Zoom, with notable attendees including Apple executive chairman Tim Cook and PayPal CEO Enrique Lores. The First Lady is scheduled to continue her UN-related activities on Wednesday by ringing the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange and launching the IMPERIA initiative for female chief executives.
