Paramount+ has renewed the crime drama MobLand for a third season, confirming that Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren will all return, in an unusually early vote of confidence issued more than two weeks before Season 2 even premieres. The decision ends speculation about the show's future, particularly around Hardy's involvement, and means the Harrigan family's saga will continue well beyond the ten episodes about to air.

Hardy will reprise his role as fixer Harry Da Souza, alongside Brosnan and Mirren as criminal patriarch and matriarch Conrad and Maeve Harrigan. Season 2, launching on 18 September on Paramount+, sees the family struggle to present a united front as rivals threaten their empire and internal tensions boil over; the returning ensemble includes Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson and Emmett J. Scanlan, alongside newer additions Johnny Flynn, Ophelia Lovibond, Janet McTeer and Toby Jones. The series is executive produced by Hardy and Guy Ritchie, among others, for Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios.
