## Summary

Xreal has begun selling the Aura, its first smartglasses to run Google and Samsung’s Android XR platform. The lightweight, wired device is designed for work, entertainment, gaming and AI-assisted tasks, and its launch discount lowers the cost of trying the new platform.

The glasses weigh under 95g and connect to a separate puck that handles power and computing. They have Micro-OLED displays with a 70-degree field of view and 120Hz refresh rate, Bose-tuned open-ear speakers, built-in Gemini and access to 150 XR experiences. The 12GB/256GB model costs $1,099 until the end of 2026, down from $1,279; the 16GB/512GB version is $1,299, reduced from $1,499. Shipping is expected to start in mid-November.
