Everybody Loves Raymond has surpassed 750 days in Paramount+’s US top ten, showing that the 1990s sitcom remains a significant streaming draw more than two decades after it ended. The milestone suggests the series continues to appeal to audiences despite competition from newer programmes, including shows in Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone franchise.

The comedy ran for nine seasons and 210 episodes, following Ray and Debra Barone’s family life on Long Island. Its original broadcast was highly successful: the 2005 finale attracted 32.9 million viewers, while the fifth and sixth seasons averaged roughly 18 to 20 million weekly viewers.

Everybody Loves Raymond is an American family comedy that originally ran from 1996 to 2005. It centres on sportswriter Ray Barone, his wife Debra and their three children, whose life is regularly complicated by Ray’s parents and brother living across the road on Long Island, near New York City.

The programme starred Ray Romano as Ray, Patricia Heaton as Debra, Doris Roberts and Peter Boyle as Ray’s parents Marie and Frank, and Brad Garrett as his brother Robert. Its stories focus on everyday family arguments, marriage, parenting and sibling relationships.

The show was a major success on US television and ended after nine series. Its continued presence on a streaming service reflects the lasting popularity of familiar comedy programmes, which can attract viewers alongside newer original series.
