- The Coffee Table is streaming free on Tubi.
- A furniture purchase leads to a devastating accident.
- The 90-minute film builds tension through a confined domestic setting.

## Summary

The Coffee Table, a Spanish horror film now free to stream on Tubi, turns a couple’s furniture purchase into an escalating domestic nightmare. The article says its tense, confined story and bleak tone make it an unusually disturbing watch, and advises viewers to consider whether they want something gentler.

Jesus and Maria are unhappy new parents; after Jesus insists on buying an eccentric glass-and-metal table, an accident involving their baby leaves him trying to hide what happened. Over the film’s 90 minutes, family visits, mounting pressure and the discovery of crucial evidence deepen the crisis. The article describes the violence as restrained, with much of the horror coming from the situation’s senselessness and the audience’s imagination.
