## Key points

- Family storage is now 2TB shared across members.
- The price remains $13 monthly or $130 annually.
- Existing subscribers transition at renewal from May 2027.

## Summary

Microsoft 365 Family now includes 2TB of OneDrive storage shared among all members, replacing the previous allowance of 1TB per person for up to six people. The change substantially reduces the maximum storage available to larger households, while the subscription price stays the same.

The plan continues to cost $13 a month or $130 a year, and the changes also apply to Microsoft 365 Premium. Existing Family subscribers who joined before 8 October will move to shared storage at their first renewal on or after 2 May 2027, though switching plans may bring the change forward. Subscribers can buy extra storage in packs of 100GB, 500GB, 1TB or 6TB, up to an additional 10TB.
