## Summary

Philippine police have received a court warrant to examine digital devices linked to Thomas Markle, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex’s father, as authorities investigate allegations that child sexual abuse material was found at his home. The warrant is a new step in a case that has drawn investigations in the Philippines, the United States and the UK.

Markle’s son, Thomas Markle Jr, says he found images and videos in storage boxes and on a phone and computer at his father’s home in Cebu in July. Markle Sr denies the allegations and says he will do whatever it takes to clear his name; Philippine officials said forensic analysis was expected to take about a week. Meghan said she was distressed by the claims and that keeping her children away from her father was intended to protect them.
