Thora Birch, Barbara Hershey, Jeff Perry, Alysia Reiner, Abigail Rose Solomon and Morgan Saylor will star in the independent family dramedy ‘The Last Seder’, which has completed production in Los Angeles. The film adapts Jennifer Maisel’s play and centres on a family confronting major change during a final Passover gathering, with themes of ageing, loss and family honesty.

Arlene Nelson is directing for Rosalind Productions, which spent several years developing the screenplay with Maisel. The story follows the Price daughters returning to their Long Island home as their father’s Alzheimer’s worsens, the family house is sold and their mother plans a new phase of life; Briana Venskus-Vazquez, Damon J. Gillespie, Griff Furst, Joseph Kamal and Kristian Bruun also appear.
