Three Questions With Kylie Jenner About Revisiting King Kylie Era for Pink-Drenched Dunkin’ Collab

The Hollywood Reporter · 4 hours ago

Kylie Jenner has teamed up with Dunkin' to launch the King Kylie Collection, a trio of pink-themed limited-time drinks that revive the flamboyant, wig-and-streetwear "King Kylie" persona she was known for in the mid-2010s. The tie-in matters as another example of celebrity-branded fast-food marketing, pairing Jenner's nostalgic image and her Kylie Cosmetics aesthetic with a chain looking to draw attention to its summer menu.

The collection, available from 8 July, comprises a Candy Pink Lemonade Refresher, a Vanilla Pink Cloud Latte and a Pink Lemon Drop Suncloud Lemonade. To promote it, Jenner donned a pink wig and satin skirt set for an advert directed by music video veteran Dave Meyers, in which she chairs a boardroom meeting about "serving pink". Jenner said pink was central to both the King Kylie era and her cosmetics brand, and that she had significant creative input; her personal go-to order, she noted, is a simple iced vanilla latte. The drinks join a wider Dunkin' summer line-up of lemonades, dessert-inspired beverages and bakery items.
