## Key points

- Jalen Williams was stretchered off after a left leg injury.
- Oklahoma City had not announced a diagnosis.
- Cason Wallace also suffered a shoulder injury.

## Summary

Oklahoma City Thunder forward Jalen Williams was stretchered off after injuring his left leg during a game against the Los Angeles Clippers. The awkward landing left him visibly stunned, and the incident matters because Williams is a key player for the Thunder, who are seeking to defend their NBA title.

Williams acknowledged the crowd’s support with a thumbs-up as he was taken from the court, but the injury diagnosis had not yet been announced. The article says the injury could sideline him for the 2026-27 season, though that is not confirmed. He averaged 17.1 points, 4.6 rebounds and 5.5 assists in 33 games last season; guard Cason Wallace also left the game with a shoulder injury.
