Ticketmaster Cancels Scalped Tickets to Olivia Rodrigo’s “The Unraveled Tour,” and Fans Can Get Them at Face Value
Ticketmaster has clawed back tickets for Olivia Rodrigo's "The Unraveled Tour" that were bought up by scalpers in breach of sales rules, and is now reselling them directly to fans at their original face value. The move aims to counter touting on one of the year's most in-demand pop tours, giving genuine fans a chance to secure seats without paying inflated resale prices.
Ticketmaster said the recovered tickets were purchases that "broke the rules of the sales" and are being released back to fans who have not yet secured seats, who will be given priority. The window to request tickets closes on Friday, 21 August at 11.59pm ET, with requests made directly through Ticketmaster. Fans will also be able to apply for $25 "Silver Star" tickets from 1 September, ahead of the tour's opening night in Hartford, Connecticut, on 25 September.
