Tim Curry 911 dispatch call reveals haunting moment first responders rushed to actor’s Hollywood home
Newly released emergency-call audio indicates that police and paramedics were sent to Tim Curry’s Hollywood home on Tuesday night, where he was declared dead at the scene. The recording reportedly described the incident as an “ambulance death investigation”, while Los Angeles police said a death-investigation report had been completed; the cause of death had not been determined.
Fire officials said they responded to a medical call at about 11.23pm at the address believed to be Curry’s home, without identifying the patient publicly. Curry, 80, was widely known for The Rocky Horror Picture Show and many film, television and stage roles, and had lived with serious mobility problems following a 2012 stroke. His manager announced his death on Wednesday.

Tim Curry is an English actor and singer whose career has spanned theatre, film, television and voice work. He is particularly associated with playing the flamboyant Dr Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, a 1975 musical film that later became a long-running cult favourite.
