The gesture, shared widely on Instagram, highlighted McGraw's ongoing effort to encourage young musicians by giving away a signed guitar in each tour city, and drew attention from fellow country star Luke Combs after Finn mentioned their friendship.

During the encounter, Finn sang a few verses of "Where the Green Grass Grows" to an enthusiastic crowd before McGraw, invoking Combs's name, asked the boy to promise he would learn guitar. Finn agreed and was handed the instrument, with McGraw crediting Combs for inspiring the moment.
