‘Tires’ Renewed for Season 4 at Netflix (EXCLUSIVE)

Variety · 11 hours ago

Netflix has renewed "Tires," the workplace comedy created by and starring Shane Gillis, for a fourth season, just weeks after the third season premiered on the streamer. The show follows the dysfunctional staff of a fictional auto repair chain, Valley Forge, and began life as an independently produced passion project before Netflix picked it up for distribution in 2024. The renewal underscores the streamer's growing investment in Gillis, who recently signed a broader creative partnership deal with Netflix covering future shows, films and stand-up specials.

The series is created by Gillis alongside John McKeever and Steve Gerben, and stars Gillis, Gerben, Chris O'Connor, Kilah Fox, Stavros Halkias and Thomas Haden Church, with guest appearances from comedians including Andrew Schulz and Bobby Lee. Season three reached No. 5 on Netflix's Top 10 English TV list, its best ranking yet, and the show has drawn more than 45 million views across three seasons since its 2024 debut. Netflix comedy VP Tracey Pakosta praised the show's growing fandom, while Gillis has separately become one of the world's biggest touring comedians, breaking Guinness World Records this year for ticket sales and audience size at a stadium show.
