## Key points

- The Da Vinci Code is streaming free on Pluto TV.
- Its two Tom Hanks sequels are available there too.
- The film grossed about $760 million worldwide.

## Summary

The Da Vinci Code, starring Tom Hanks, has been added to Pluto TV’s free streaming library alongside its two sequels. The 2006 mystery thriller remains one of Hanks’ biggest commercial hits and launched a film franchise, though a new television reboot is in development at Netflix.

The film earned about $760 million worldwide against a reported $130 million budget, despite poor reviews and controversy over its religious themes and historical claims. Hanks described it as entertainment rather than a historical account; the film also starred Audrey Tautou, Ian McKellen and Paul Bettany.
