Tom Hardy has released a collaborative rap album, “Czarface Meets Frankie Pulitzer”, under his musical alias Frankie Pulitzer, alongside underground hip-hop group Czarface. The project draws attention because the actor incorporates references to his film career, comic-book characters and classic cinema, including a Shakespeare recital delivered in a voice resembling his portrayal of Bane.

Tracks on the album mention films such as “Bringing Out the Dead”, “Dog Day Afternoon” and “Titanic”, as well as Green Goblin, Doctor Doom, Thor and Sergeant Rock. One lyric on “Mad Technology” includes an explicit remark about Kathy Bates, while “Grim-Visaged War” ends with Hardy reciting a “Richard III” monologue; Hardy has previously featured on Czarface releases and made an unreleased album around 1999 as Tommy No 1.
