Tom Holland has said plans for a fifth Spider-Man film remain "unclear," while suggesting he already knows when Miles Morales will be introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The remarks, made while promoting his latest film Spider-Man: Brand New Day, will fuel speculation about the franchise's future, given the character's long-running success and Marvel's evident interest in eventually bringing Miles Morales into live-action.

In an interview with 1Live, Holland said the question he'd most want answered was when Miles Morales would join the MCU, adding "I know the answer" but declining to elaborate. Marvel boss Kevin Feige recently indicated the character likely won't appear until after the Spider-Verse animated saga concludes. Separately, in a video with Serieously alongside co-star Zendaya, Holland said he "would love to" return for a fifth film but that plans were still uncertain. No Spider-Man 5 has been officially announced, though Brand New Day has taken an estimated $927 million worldwide in its opening weekend.
