## Summary

Tom Morello said the Democrats’ victory in the US midterm elections was only a beginning, urging people to keep organising for a fairer and more peaceful society. He argued that election results alone would not bring change and called on supporters to hold political leaders accountable.

In an Instagram post, the Rage Against The Machine guitarist described the results as a rejection of Trumpism, racism, oligarchy and other policies he opposed. The article says Democrats took control of both the House of Representatives and the Senate, making it harder for President Donald Trump to advance conservative legislation. Morello’s new album, *Everyone Gets Everything They Want*, is out now.
