## Summary

Drew Mestemaker strengthened his case to be a leading quarterback in the 2027 NFL Draft, scoring five touchdowns as Oklahoma State beat Kansas State 66-28. Jets general manager Darren Mougey watched from the stadium, adding interest because the team may seek a quarterback and holds several high draft picks.

Mestemaker threw four touchdown passes and caught a five-yard scoring pass, the first of his career. He has passed for more than 2,600 yards this season after throwing for 4,379 last year, and has six games with at least three touchdown passes this season. ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. ranks him second overall and as the top quarterback on his latest 2027 board; Pro Football Focus also projects him as the first quarterback selected.
