The Toronto Film Festival has revealed its television programming selection for its 51st edition this September, with ten series chosen for the Primetime sidebar. The lineup features productions from established showrunners and brings together an ensemble of recognisable actors, ranging from supernatural thrillers to contemporary dramas and reimaginings of established intellectual property.

Among the highlighted selections, Mike Flanagan's adaptation of Stephen King's "Carrie" will close the festival on Prime Video, whilst Netflix's "Below" opens the television programme with a six-part story centred on a seaside community in Newfoundland confronted by a mysterious sea creature. Additional offerings include psychological thrillers, a Friday the 13th prequel, true crime documentaries, and international series, alongside world premieres of various adaptations ranging from podcasts to literary works and mythological reimaginings.
