- Three other people were wounded at the boxing event.
- Police say the attack showed signs of planning; two suspects remain at large.

## Summary

Nineteen-year-old Vana-Reese Schuster-Togiatau is in a critical and unstable condition after being shot at a family-friendly boxing event at Fitzys Loganholme pub, south of Brisbane. Police say she appears to have been an innocent bystander; the shooting has alarmed the local community because children, teenagers and families were at the venue.

At least six shots were fired from a car on Saturday night, wounding Schuster-Togiatau and three other people, all of whom underwent surgery. The Mitsubishi ASX used in the attack was later found dumped and burning nearby, while two masked suspects remain at large. Police have not established a motive, but say signs of planning suggest the shooting was not random; specialist organised-crime investigators are assisting, and officers are seeking information from the public.
