Travis Scott has admitted he was "actually nervous" while filming his acting debut in Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey," in which he plays The Bard, a character who narrates Odysseus's journey and appears at the start and near the end of the film. Speaking on The Tonight Show, the rapper described feeling out of his depth surrounded by the film's star-studded cast, but praised his co-stars and Nolan, who personally invited him to join the project, for making him feel comfortable.

The Odyssey has become a major commercial success, taking $123.5 million domestically and $263.7 million globally on opening weekend, the biggest worldwide launch of Nolan's career and the top live-action opening of 2026. Beyond his on-screen role, Scott recorded the closing-credits track "When I'm Home" with producer James Blake and composer Ludwig Göransson, and will direct its music video, due next week. The success follows a strong period for Scott, whose Circus Maximus Tour grossed $265 million last year, and he also recently swapped gifts with footballer Erling Haaland after designing his Nike boots.
