- Trevor Noah to host Google's Pixel 11 launch on 12 August
- Celebrity line-up includes Alex Cooper, Stephen Curry and Shubman Gill
- Pixel 11 Pro and Pro Fold expected, reportedly at higher prices

## Summary

Google has confirmed that comedian Trevor Noah will host its next "Made by Google" hardware launch event, scheduled for 12 August in New York City. The event, expected to unveil the Pixel 11 line-up, appears to signal Google's continued push to court a mainstream, celebrity-driven audience rather than a traditional tech-focused crowd, following a similar approach with Jimmy Fallon as host the previous year.

A teaser video for the event also features cricketer Shubman Gill, actress Ayami Nakajo, podcaster Alex Cooper and basketball star Stephen Curry, all of whom have existing ties to Pixel advertising or Google. The show starts at 6pm ET, and while only brief glimpses of a new phone and smartwatch appear in the teaser, leaks point to the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro Fold being unveiled, with reports suggesting buyers should expect higher prices than previous models.
