## Summary

A tribute concert for Ross “The Boss” Friedman will take place on 9 January 2027 at The Meadows in Brooklyn, New York. Members of the Ross the Boss band, the Dictators and the Spinatr as will perform, with special guests also expected; the event is described as a one-time US show and may launch tributes elsewhere during 2027.

Friedman, a founding member of both Manowar and the Dictators, died in March 2026 aged 72, after being diagnosed with ALS the previous month. He recorded six albums with Manowar, leaving after 1988’s *Kings of Metal*, and helped shape punk rock with the Dictators, whose debut album arrived in 1975. The concert is open to all ages, though attendees under 16 must have a legal guardian.
