The family of 23-year-old Clara Bale, who was found dead at a luxury flat in Islington, north London, have paid tribute to her as police continue to investigate her death. Six people, four women and two men, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and have since been released on bail while enquiries continue, leaving the case ongoing without any charges yet brought.

Ms Bale was discovered unresponsive at a property in Bollinder Place after police were called at 9.33am on Thursday following concerns for her welfare; she was pronounced dead at the scene despite paramedics' efforts. The four women arrested were aged 20, 21, 23 and 26, and the two men were 21 and 24. Her family described her as a "brilliant young woman filled with dreams" whose loss has left "an immeasurable void", while Detective Chief Inspector Paul Waller said the investigation was making "good progress" and appealed for witnesses. Forensics teams remained at the scene, Valencia Tower, days later, with residents describing a chaotic scene and the building's spa temporarily closed during inquiries.
