Trixie Mattel Signs With CAA

The Hollywood Reporter · 2 months ago

Drag performer Trixie Mattel has signed with the talent agency CAA for representation across most areas of her work, moving over from her previous agency, UTA. The switch consolidates the representation of one of the most commercially prolific figures to emerge from the drag world, spanning music, television, comedy and consumer products, and signals CAA's interest in her expanding multi-platform brand.

CAA will represent Mattel in all fields except audio, with UTA retaining her for podcasting and related touring, including her popular podcast The Bald and the Beautiful. The American singer, actor and drag queen rose to prominence after winning RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars season three, having first competed on season seven of the main series. Her wider portfolio includes the documentary Trixie Mattel: Moving Parts, the Discovery+ series Trixie Motel, the Solid Pink Disco DJ tour with appearances at Coachella and OUTLOUD, a comedy partnership with fellow queen Katya, and business ventures such as Trixie Cosmetics and partnerships with Fender and Integrity Toys. She continues to be managed by Jacob Slane, David Charpentier, Ryan Aceto and Maddie Jacobs at Producer Entertainment Group.
