BeatHub Entertainment has acquired full control of Bogotá's Movistar Arena by purchasing the 50% stake previously held by Chile's BeLive Entertainment Group. The move consolidates the Colombian company's position in the local entertainment sector and represents its long-term commitment to investment in the country, as emphasised by BeatHub CEO Eduardo Olea. The transaction was announced on 17 September and reinforces BeatHub's confidence in Colombia's entertainment market growth.

The Movistar Arena, which opened in 2018, has attracted more than 5.5 million visitors and hosted over 400 artists to date, with BeatHub projecting more than 160 events for 2026. The acquisition was financed through the Bonus private capital fund and was approved by Colombia's competition regulator without concerns. The deal reflects BeLive's broader retreat from South America, where Live Nation has been steadily acquiring majority stakes in regional arenas and promoters across Chile, Peru, and Argentina.
