Twin Atlantic have released a new single, 'Supersweetness', a warm, family-inspired track written by frontman Sam McTrusty about his love for his daughters, who also contribute backing vocals. It continues the raw honesty that has come to define the Glasgow band's forthcoming album, though this time the emotional focus shifts to something sweeter rather than the painful family history explored elsewhere on the record.

The song will feature on the band's new full-length album, 'Separation From The Animals', due for release on 2 October via Dance To The Radio, alongside another track, 'In Your Eyes'. McTrusty has spoken of a difficult, divided upbringing that shaped much of the album's candour, describing it as central to what the band represents. Twin Atlantic will also tour the UK this autumn with support from The Xcerts, playing Leeds, Birmingham, Newcastle, London, Manchester and Glasgow between 16 and 23 October.
