New Orleans punk duo Twisted Teens have released a short new piece titled “toe”, presented as a YouTube video. Rather than their usual fast, catchy Southern-inflected punk sound, it features dark, slow music beneath a voicemail from an apologetic woman describing an accidentally uploaded Facebook photo, making it a notably unusual release for the band.

The duo have become a prominent underground rock act this year after releasing two albums, Blame The Clown and Florida Water Blues. They have also announced a third LP for later in 2026; it is unclear whether “toe” will appear on it, but the track suggests the forthcoming record could depart sharply from their established style.
