The series finale of 'Hacks' culminates in a striking visual sequence depicting the two lead characters beneath two iconic Eiffel Towers: first in Paris, then at its replica on the Las Vegas Strip. To achieve the seamless transition between these distant locations, the production employed an innovative in-camera compositing method during filming in Paris, projecting the Las Vegas tower into the cinematographer's live monitor to ensure precise alignment. Visual effects specialists then completed the final cut between the two settings in post-production.

Realising this ambitious conclusion demanded substantial reshooting and logistical effort. Director Lucia Aniello determined that initial filming conditions—particularly the sky and light—failed to convey the emotional resonance the finale required, prompting a full week of reshooter at the Bellagio and Caesars Palace. Production carefully synchronised the Bellagio's fountain displays to align with the camera's movements, whilst drone operators captured a descending aerial shot that Aniello found particularly evocative of the series' intended emotional culmination.
