## Summary

Tye Kartye scored the go-ahead goal in the Rangers’ 3-2 win over the Flyers, while playing a career-high 20 minutes and six seconds. Since joining New York on waivers, the undrafted winger has earned broader responsibilities, showing how his forechecking, defensive work and versatility have made him a valuable fit.

The Rangers claimed the 25-year-old from Seattle on 27 February. He has recorded 10 goals and 26 points in 41 games for New York, including 12 points in the team’s 9-7-1 start this season; in his three-plus seasons with the Kraken, he never reached 22 points. He has recently played on the second line with J.T. Miller and Gabe Perreault, and contributes on the penalty kill and second power-play unit.
