Tyler, The Creator says crowd for night one of his All Points East takeover were “fucking dead”

NME · 3 hours ago

Tyler, The Creator told the crowd on the second night of his All Points East takeover that the previous evening's audience had been "fucking dead", thanking Saturday's fans for reviving his energy. The rapper played two sold-out headline shows at London's Victoria Park on 28 and 29 August, making him the first artist to headline the festival on consecutive nights, and his candid remark quickly circulated online after being caught on camera before he performed "Darling, I".

Saturday's set featured guest appearances from A$AP Rocky, who joined Tyler for "Who Dat Boy" ahead of his own O2 show, and Rex Orange County, who performed "Boredom" with Tyler on both nights. The two dates had separate supporting line-ups, including Clipse and Sexyy Red on Friday and Daniel Caesar and Baby Keem on Saturday, as part of a wider 2026 All Points East run that also featured Lorde, Deftones and Jorja Smith, with Twenty One Pilots closing the festival.
