U.K.’s Largest Harry Potter Store Opening in London Ahead of HBO Series Launch
Warner Bros. will open the UK’s largest official Harry Potter shop on Oxford Street in November, ahead of HBO’s new television series premiering on 25 December. The launch is intended to capitalise on renewed interest in the franchise during the Christmas shopping period and will add a major themed retail attraction to central London.
The two-floor flagship will cover more than 21,000 square feet and take inspiration from Diagon Alley, featuring a dragon above Gringotts, a full-size Knight Bus and a Leaky Cauldron food outlet serving Butterbeer. It will be the UK’s second official Harry Potter shop after King’s Cross, with exclusive products including a Diagon Alley wand, a Funko Pop figure and MinaLima artwork.
