## Key points

- Rockstar’s UK staff will vote on union recognition in November.
- The proposed deal covers pay, overtime and job security.
- The vote coincides with GTA 6’s launch and tribunal arguments.

## Summary

Newly added coverage highlights that UK based Rockstar staff will vote on whether to recognise the IWGB union during the run up to GTA 6’s launch. If approved, the agreement would give workers a say in decisions on workplace conditions and make the IWGB the UK games industry’s largest recognised union.

Voting is scheduled for 12 and 26 November, with GTA 6 due to launch on 19 November. The vote comes as closing arguments are set for 17 and 18 November in an employment tribunal involving Rockstar, the union and workers laid off last year; a judge’s decision will follow later. The proposed agreement covers pay and bonuses, overtime, redundancies, flexible working and generative AI policies.
