- Moscow has rejected a full ceasefire and demands Donbas.

## Summary

Representatives from Ukraine, the U.S., NATO and European countries met in Brussels on 4 November to coordinate efforts to end Russia’s war ahead of planned trilateral talks with Russia in Abu Dhabi. The meeting matters as Washington renews its push to bring Kyiv and Moscow back to negotiations.

The Abu Dhabi talks are scheduled for 10–11 November and are expected to involve Ukraine, Russia and the U.S. A separate Brussels meeting involving Ukraine, Germany, France, the UK, the U.S., NATO and the World Bank discussed post-war reconstruction and economic development. Earlier talks planned for October did not proceed after the Kremlin declined to participate; Moscow has rejected Western-backed calls for a full ceasefire and continued to demand that Ukraine cede Donbas.
