Billboard · 2 hours ago

The Unidos por los Nuestros benefit concert and international fundraising campaign has raised $1,377,928.05 for communities affected by devastating earthquakes in Venezuela and Colombia. The event mattered as a rare cross-border collective effort by the Latin music industry, bringing together dozens of major artists to support humanitarian relief following two separate seismic disasters within weeks of each other.

Held on Sunday 16 August at Miami's Kaseya Center, the show featured more than 30 performers, including Marc Anthony, Luis Fonsi, Chayanne, Ricardo Montaner and Feid. Originally launched as Unidos por Venezuela after magnitude 7.2 and 7.5 earthquakes struck the country on 24 June, the campaign broadened to include Colombia following a magnitude 7.5 quake there on 10 August; funds will go towards food, medical care, shelter, mental health services and infrastructure reconstruction, with organisers stressing transparency in how donations are distributed.
