‘Untold’ Returns to Netflix With Documentaries on Raygun, Vince Young and Mr. T (Exclusive)

The Hollywood Reporter · 3 hours ago

Netflix's sports-documentary anthology series "Untold" is returning with three new standalone episodes focusing on retired NFL quarterback Vince Young, Olympic breakdancer Raygun and actor Mr. T, beginning 25 August 2026. The series, created by brothers Chapman and Maclain Way, has built a reputation for revisiting well-known sporting and cultural figures with fresh depth, and this instalment continues that approach by tackling three very different subjects whose public images belie more complicated personal stories.

The run opens with "Untold: The Testimony of Vince Young," directed by John Henion, examining the Texas Longhorns legend's rise and troubled NFL career. The following week brings "Untold Raygun: Breaking Badly," directed by the Way brothers themselves, telling the inside story of Rachael Gunn, the Australian breakdancer who became a viral sensation and target of misinformation after the 2024 Paris Olympics. The season concludes on 8 September with "Untold Mr. T: I Pity the Fool," directed by Scott Weintrob, chronicling the origins of Laurence Tureaud before he became the iconic Mr. T of "The A-Team" and "Rocky III."
