## Key points

- Philadelphia police and the FBI are investigating a home linked to missing women.
- Recovered footage may show a killing, according to investigators.
- Garden bones were animal; other evidence still needs testing.

## Summary

Police and the FBI are searching a Philadelphia home once occupied by deceased pornographer Raymond “R.C.” Horsch, after material found there linked him to several missing women. Investigators have recovered what they describe as disturbing videos and images, including footage they believe may show Horsch killing a woman, and are examining evidence for possible human remains.

The investigation began after Horsch’s son Eugene was arrested in June; police said he had guns, drugs and false law-enforcement badges, and that a woman with him carried identification belonging to missing woman Blair Tonzelli. Searches have uncovered drums containing oil sludge, five urns believed to hold the cremated remains of missing women, and bones in the garden that testing identified as animal. Police have also found human DNA traces that require further testing, alongside hundreds of thousands of images, tens of thousands of videos and thousands of pages of writings.
