The 38th Vancouver Queer Film Festival will run from 10 to 20 September, followed by online screenings from 21 to 27 September. It will showcase work by 2SLGBTQIA+ creators and feature films involving Alan Cumming, Matthew Morrison, Dylan Mulvaney and Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, under the theme “A Seat at Our Table”, which emphasises belonging and community participation.

The programme includes 87 feature-length and short films, alongside parties, filmmaker question-and-answer sessions, workshops and community events. Notable titles include Kiloran Bay, First Death, Beba From 5 to 9, Test and Again Again, while the short She’s Nonbinary is executive-produced by Bob Odenkirk and Jane Schoenbrun; Lilly Wachowski is also an executive producer on Again Again.
