Vice President JD Vance’s wife Usha gives birth to baby boy
US Vice President JD Vance and his wife Usha have welcomed their fourth child, a baby boy named Alec Neel Vance. The couple announced the birth on X, saying mother and baby were "happy and healthy" and thanking staff at Walter Reed Medical Center and the White House Medical Unit for their care.
Usha, 40, and JD, 41, first revealed in January that they were expecting a boy, and had said they expected to welcome him in late July. He joins the couple's two sons, Ewan, nine, and Vivek, six, and their four-year-old daughter, Mirabel. Vance had previously told the Daily Mail the couple typically waits until after a baby is born to settle on a name, as they did with their other three children.
