Victims of Oregon murder suicide are pictured as grieving family left searching for answers
Five people were killed at a rural property near Forest Grove, Oregon, in what authorities believe was a murder-suicide carried out by Stella Kimsey’s boyfriend, Benjamin Parker. Parker was later found dead in Washington state from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, but investigators say his motive remains unknown, leaving relatives searching for answers.
The victims were Mary Elizabeth Kimsey, 85; her daughter Rowan, 60; granddaughter Stella, 26; Stella’s best friend Linsey Haraldsen, 26; and Haraldsen’s partner Alvin Chu, 27. Parker allegedly told his mother he had planned to kill three people but killed two additional people who arrived, while grieving relatives remembered the victims for their artistic talent, love of nature and close family bonds.
