Nigerian singer Victony has notched the strongest week of his career on Billboard's U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart, as his new album STARLIFE drives eight simultaneous debuts on the ranking. The lead single "Slick" holds at its No. 2 peak for a third consecutive week, marking his highest-ever placement and third top 10 on the chart, underscoring the album's strong commercial impact in its first tracking week.

"Slick" earned 900,000 official U.S. streams in the Aug. 21-27 week, a 10% rise on the previous week, according to Luminate, surpassing his prior best of No. 5 with "Soweto" and "Pity This Boy". The eight new entries push Victony's career tally to 25 appearances on the chart, while STARLIFE itself debuts at No. 20 on the World Albums chart. Other new entries include "FRE$H" at No. 21, "2FRESH" at No. 26, and collaborations such as "Who This" with BNXN and "STARLIFE" with Blaqbonez & YKB.
