Victoria Beckham’s company makes its first profit after 18 years
Victoria Beckham's fashion and beauty company has recorded its first operating profit since she founded it in 2008, marking a turnaround after nearly two decades of losses. Victoria Beckham Holdings Ltd made an operating profit of £7.3m in 2025, according to newly published accounts, with Beckham saying the brand is now growing "at a sensible pace" and is no longer viewed simply as a celebrity venture. The milestone follows years of well-documented financial struggles, including a 2023 Netflix documentary that chronicled her fight to be taken seriously as a designer.
The turnaround was driven by strong growth in both halves of the business: fashion delivered "strong double-digit growth", boosted by the Netflix series' impact on denim and jersey sales, while the beauty arm, launched in 2019, had one of its best years yet thanks to the popularity of Foundation Drops, which had a 25,000-strong waiting list. The company previously came close to collapse, needing a bailout from husband Sir David Beckham before selling a 30% stake to NEO Investment Partners in 2017 for £30m, which led to a restructuring that cut wasteful spending, including on flying furniture internationally and lavish office plants.
- Victoria Beckham's firm posted a £7.3m operating profit in 2025, its first ever.
- Fashion and beauty divisions both grew strongly, led by Foundation Drops skincare.
- Company recovered after past losses, a family bailout and 2017 investment restructuring.
