Video: Crazy Taxi: World Tour Gets A Crazy New Trailer Highlighting West Coast Map
Sega has released a new trailer for Crazy Taxi: World Tour, the 2027 revival of its arcade racing series, showcasing a West Coast map featuring activities such as demolishing sand castles, delivering pizza and flinging characters into the ocean. The game will continue the series' tradition of featuring real-world retailers as in-game storefronts, with brands such as IHOP and Amoeba Music confirmed for this map; further locations and retailers will be revealed alongside future World Tour maps.
Sega has also confirmed a Multiplayer Closed Network Test running from 11 to 13 September 2026 to assess online stability and cross-play, though it will not be available on Switch 2. The test will focus on two modes, Pickup Race and Cops 'N' Cabbies, playable via Ranked or Custom Match across two maps with four characters and six customisable cars. Sign-ups are open until 31 August 2026, and the test covers multiplayer only, with the full release set to include single-player and story modes.
