Diesel shared the remarks while promoting the 25th-anniversary cinema re-release of “The Fast and the Furious” on 21 August. The original film earned $207 million worldwide, while “Fast X” took $704 million; “Fast Forever”, directed by Louis Leterrier and scripted by Michael Lesslie after earlier drafts, is scheduled for release on 17 March 2028.
