NME · 3 hours ago

Violet Grohl, daughter of Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, has cancelled two dates on her UK headline tour after losing her voice, just hours before she was due on stage in Manchester on Tuesday. The singer-songwriter, currently touring in support of her debut album "Be Sweet To Me", also called off her Glasgow show scheduled for Wednesday, saying she was unable to perform and would reschedule both dates. The cancellations come just days before she is due to appear at Reading & Leeds festival this weekend.

Grohl announced the news in a statement to fans, apologising and confirming that ticket holders would receive updated information once new dates are confirmed. She is still set to perform at Leeds on Friday and Reading on Sunday, alongside an appearance at Ireland's Electric Picnic on Saturday, before further shows in London, Paris and further UK, Irish and North American dates through the fourth quarter of the year. Reading & Leeds 2026 will be headlined by acts including Florence + The Machine, Charli XCX and Fontaines D.C.
