BBC Northern Ireland and US streamer Wonder Project have commissioned "Rewarding", a six-part comedy series starring comedian Vittorio Angelone and Hannah McClean as support workers caring for disabled and neurodivergent clients. The show grew out of a pilot developed through BBC Northern Ireland and Northern Ireland Screen's Green Lit scheme, and is notable for casting authentic disabled, neurodivergent and learning disabled talent in its client roles. It is now filming in Belfast.

Set in a domiciliary care facility called Beacon Fold, the series follows idealistic newcomer Sinead and pragmatic veteran Francis as they support their clients while contending with awkward colleagues, social care bureaucracy and their own messy personal lives. Angelone reprises his pilot role of Francis, with McClean replacing Seána Kerslake. Written by former care worker Matthew McDevitt with Paddy Campbell and Faebian Averies, the series is produced by Banijay UK's Conker Pictures, with Banijay Rights handling international sales. The cast also includes Bernadette Brown, Joanne Crawford, Faolan Morgan, Lee Snodgrass, Faith Alabi and John Moffat.
